the solution we deemed best
Our group came with a proposed solution: the UN resolution. The UN has come up with 3 main resolutions in 2012, 13, and 14, respectively. But the one in 2014 basically reviews the previous ones, so we chose the third one. The resolution calls for an end to all forms of violence. This mainly refers to their use of chemical weapons. It also demands the Assad regime to allow safe humanitarian aid to Syria and encourages the member states to support. Lastly, it allows Syria to establish a transitional government. By doing so, members of the present Syrian government and those of the opposition are included within the government system. it also allows citizens to determine the future of Syria.
